The reality of educational support in the UK. 🧑‍🎓

When it comes to our kids learning, there are not that many great sites out there for UK students. Please don’t misunderstand me, there are hundreds of educational websites out there, but 99.9% are either a) rubbish b) flooded with Google Adsense advertising c) potentially unsafe environments for children ☠️.

And the ones that if they are doing right are completely one-dimensional with zero-engagement 🤯. I am not exaggerating. The lack of quality and the un-engaging nature of online education support in the UK was one of many things that drove me to create the GCSE platform.

The reality: most of the revision and learning sites that exist are often software-driven, with zero human-support or interaction. I can name many well-known names, but I didn’t want to be unfair. And I understand the reasons why. It is time-consuming to provide a service, which in turn means it is costly, and we all want everything dirt cheap 😔, and then we wonder why things have deteriorated – compared to the gold old days! 😓

We are a small business. And we are genuinely looking to provide outstanding service. To sustain high-quality service, we have to employ teachers to create learning material for students, and to support and tutor students as and when required. The technology and infrastructure costs are on top of the overheads for labour.

Our Everyday Heroes
The British public, parents like you have helped us by supporting us and using our service.

GCSE.CO.UK GROUP LTD is a limited company registered in England. We were fortunate enough to be EIS / SEIS certified for investment by HMRC. In layman’s terms, it makes a company more attractive to investors because, in the worst-case scenario, as much as 50% of losses can be tax-free. Private Equity investment is always a temptation, or even crowdfunding which feels better (at least). However, we would prefer not to get any private equity investment and get our users to support us through a natural process. So, you could say we are on our journey, and trying our best to remain completely independent.

So, if you are reading this, we would like to ask you to support us if you can. There are many ways of supporting us. Suppose you have kids who are students, the simplest way to help us to get your child to join. Alternatively, we take donations for support using the following methods. You can even donate a coffee or any amount you wish. Please see the links below.
